The South Eastern Wisconsin Citizen Corps is offering free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 21-22, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23 and 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 24 at the South Shore Fire Department, 2801 89th St. All sessions must be attended.
The CERT program prepares people to respond to emergencies in their communities. The class teaches emergency preparedness, fire safety, triage, light search and rescue operations, CERT organization and disaster psychology.
