Village of Elmwood Park, Racine County, Wisconsin
PUBLIC NOTICE is given to all persons in the Village of Elmwood Park, that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on March 13, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at 3131 Taylor Avenue, Building 3, Racine, WI, to solicit comments on the proposed changes to Chapters II and Chapter IX of the municipal codes.
These revisions update Chapters II and IX and create the Zoning Board of Appeals Pursuant to Stat. Stat. 6.23 (7)(e)(1) ”The council which enacts zoning regulations pursuant to this section shall by ordinance provide for the appointment of a board of appeals, and shall provide in such regulations that said board of appeals may, in appropriate cases and subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards, make special exceptions to the terms of the ordinance in harmony with its general purpose and intent and in accordance with general or specific rules therein contained…”
