Spring weather is quickly approaching and that means the potential for rain, flooding and severe thunderstorms. Each year, these storms cause millions of dollars in damage statewide and approximately seventy-five percent of all Presidential disaster declarations are associated with flooding. We do not know what 2015 will hold but it is important that we work together when areas of the community are impacted by these events. Attached you will find our annual letter, which includes information on damage assessment, sand bag suppliers and proper use of sandbags.
