OPEN BOOK FOR
2018 ASSESSMENT ROLL
The 2018 Real Estate Assessment Roll will be open for inspection at the Village Hall located at
3131 Taylor Ave. Building 3 from 6:00-8:00 on April 16, 2018. It is requested that all
Inquiries in the matter of 2018 assessments be made during this period that
precedes the closing and certifying of the assessment roll. Property owners
whose property values were changed are notified by mail.

Village of Elmwood Park
The Open Book period is the time between the submittal of the preliminary tax roll and the formal Board of Review appeal hearing. It is used to allow property owners to review their assessment and meet with the Assessor and their staff if they have questions and want to exchange information about their property. Informal discussions with the Assessor can often resolve a problem and frequently eliminate the need for a formal hearing before the Board of Review.
