A village resident reports that yesterday he became involved in an incident he is confident would have otherwise proved to be a daytime burglary on Oak Tree Lane. Two individuals rang the front door bell of a neighbor’s house, walked to the back of the home, then peered through a kitchen window. When confronted by the resident and another neighbor, the suspects fled, but not before the other neighbor took a photo of the duo. The sheriff’s department arrived and has a copy of the photo. Please watch out for and report suspicious activity.
