Dear Residents,
By directive of the State of Wisconsin Election’s Commission, the public are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to absentee vote for the April 7th, 2020 election due to the CoVid19 pandemic.
Requests for absentee ballots may be made by going to the website myvote.wi.gov and providing a copy of your valid Form of Identification (for example, a Driver’s License). Once processed, an absentee ballot with return instructions and postage will be sent to your address. The deadline to register as a voter online has been extended to March 30th, and the deadline to request an absentee ballot from our office is Thursday, April 4th. All absentee ballots must be returned by election day, April 7th, in order to be counted.
Please note that as of today, the April 7th election is still a-go, and residents will still have the option to vote in-person at Village Hall that day as well from 7am to 8pm.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
The Village of Elmwood Park hopes you are remaining calm, safe and healthy.
Thank you,
Christophe E. Jenkins
Village Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer
